Well hello there!

Bonjour! I've realised that I've sort of neglected you, and thought I should attend to you. Now for the past couple of months I've contemplated many routes to take with my life. Whether I should actually leave the land of the UK and go to Australia for a year or two, or attend to a love interest here and start up this potential business that's been stirring round in my mind for the past couple of months. As I've done as many things to bid the boredom adieu, I've sort of gone on many social tangents. My social group isn't what it was say, 9 months ago (having the fact that most of them have disappeared to uni to waste most of their time, to perhaps come out with a glimmer of what could be a job) or purely the fact I'm not interested in keeping in touch with them anymore. I seem to have this major obsession at present with trying to progress my brain (intelligence wise). Now if we were to contemplate on how Jordan Davis exercises his brain - No it's not by sitting in some shed in Stoke, feeding whippets crisps. I've recently been pulling the books out and reading up on XNA, CSS and C#. Along with reading up on the world's history that's affected all of us in one way or another. I digress. The languages are purely business based. I'm trying to lay the foundation the the gold rush that is the telephone market. People under estimate how much people use phones for mini games to perhaps let their poor and solemn glide more smoothly. I can't help but feel a bit more obliged than to help. The premise of these games will be kept hidden until further notice, I will however open a brand new blog and perhaps give you updates on the progress we're making. (advertising scheme *Cough*). I must however note to everybody, I very much have a butterfly mind. While I see a beautiful opportunity, I might shelf that idea until I finish another spontaneous idea that's come into mind. Let's see what crazy idea I come up with next time you read this!

Try get your heads round this:

All natural and technological processes proceed in such a way that the availability of the remaining energy decreases. In all energy exchanges, if no energy enters or leaves an isolated system, the entropy of that system increases. Energy continuously flows from being concentrated, to becoming dispersed, spread out, wasted and useless. New energy cannot be created and high grade energy is being destroyed. An economy based on endless growth is...?

Kony 2012

Why this movement actually means something to me; personally.

I grew up on the suburbs of a town in Wales called Llanelli. Lived just down the road to me was a young boy called Roy who was unfortunate enough to live in an impoverished part of Uganda. He came to the UK to go into exile from the wars taking place. Unfortunately his older brother wasn't able to come along. He was taken by Kony's army and forced to kill and pillage. Now seeing a young boy who places all his hope in God to stop what this man is doing, I find it somewhat heart wrenching. Placing all his hope on something that could happen. No definite or positive outcome is guaranteed. This is the best thing I've heard for a very long time. An action that could take place and will actually work. So yes, I've known about Joseph Kony for little over 6 years. Yes, I will take to the streets of Plymouth and place his face on every inch of the walls of the city centre.

What really pisses me off What I can't get my head over is the fact that people find that the priorities lie in Afghanistan, when they themselves don't fully understand what they're out there fighting for. Blair put them out there to fight terror. It's now widely accepted that Kony is is the most wanted war villain in the world, and has been for many years! Blair stated, before despatching the troops that their mission was to apprehend and stop Saddam Hussein. Now I know, I'm no 'Mr. Observant' but last time I checked he's been stopped and killed. These men need to get out this country, if they're going to fight for 'peace' then it's time to place them somewhere, where the fight against terror is being missed.

This post isn't here to offend. It's here to state a fact. Peace out x

Yes man!

Maybe one day...
Let's go now!

I've never really acted on any sort of impulse before. In fact, I'd always think something up and decide to shelve the idea until I can be bothered to do it another day. Latest idea out of the blue was to decide to pack up bags and head off to Melbourne! I've always thought that it'd be a pipe dream what with being at school all the time and piled under with stress of exams and ALWAYS getting into some quarrel with women. But now, I've let loose of all those bonds, and the only emotional tie I have is family. They'll still be here when I get back, and I know that'll be unconditional; Unlike a woman sat patiently deciding that time is of essence and need to move on. I mean who wouldn't want to go to Australia when all they really do nowadays is perhaps have mini relationships, decide it's boring and move on to another one while going to work day in and day out. As it stands however, I don't think I'll stay longer than a year. And I doubt I'll come back to the UK to stay - I think Canada is quite cosmopolitan and I've never been skiing before. So why the hell not!

I'll think about it
Yeah sure!

I mean, it might seem brash and eccentric, but I've actually decided that saying yes to every invitation nowadays has made life more interesting. I mean, just going to someone's for a get together might be menial, but that slight change in your day could effect your later weeks. I've sooner decided to say yes to everything than be a sorry sack of shit that's boring.

Perhaps I should chill
Holiday sounds great!

So it's official, and the tickets are booked. Magaluf 2012 is happening. James went last year and he said his main problem in the fun was that there wasn't nearly enough people there on the lad's holiday. 3 people does seem a bit crap to be honest. With a grand total of 9 people, it's likely to say that it'll be an epic holiday. It's what I think I'll need to get away the monotony of the UK and a good way to say goodbye to my friends before going to Oz. I'll still get a few months before I go but, y'know leave a little memorabilia I suppose.

Fucking duh!
Actually...

I read a poster at work saying "Attitude - your outlook in life can effect your attitute and outcome" When I first saw that, I thought 'Why don't you put posters up saying "2+2=4". But it's actually helped me realise something - I've always had a really crappy time with everything because I've had such a negative outlook on things. Ever since my morale has been boosted this year, suffice to say I've had a cracking time and generally happier. I might spend my time tweeting a lot and going for drives that have no purpose but that's what makes my world go round at the moment, until I'm rocketed to the other side of the world. Watch this space, as I have some serious cards up my sleeve.

2011; the golden age of deficit and shite music.

If we were all to reflect on 2011 using our accounts books, we can simply sit and grieve. But how could we look back and see what we've achieved when something so momentous overshadows our lifestyle and hinders our plans for family members. We used to sit in the driver's seat of the economy, and as the West falls down a landslide, we must all reflect on the quote "If we want to succeed, we have to be more like China." True. But at what cost? Strip all of our human rights, being forced to work 42 hours worth of overtime and keep 50% of our savings buried with lock and key in hope for a rainy day; which on hindsight actually sounds very savvy! I digress. We must however and reminisce on the boom and bust we've recently powered through and tighten our wallets a little bit more, because this rollercoaster ride's going to get a bit wilder.

This year has experienced some incredible falls and rises, what with the travesty that's happened in Japan. The lady who was publicly decapitated in Tenerife. The phone hacking scandal, that worked at advantage in respects in knocking Murdoch down a notch. The riots in London. Gaddaffi's fall. Egypt's liberation and of course Bieber getting a girl pregnant.

Now as an insight to Twitter's trending topic "#bestalbumof2011" caught my eye, I was able to look through the public's opinion. And I have to say; you guys have shit taste! this year has produced some serious copious crap that all sounds the same as computers are producing them quicker and making it easier. My next blog entry will be analysing some serious music produced this year - Foo Fighters "Wasting light".

And so, 2012 is just around the corner and according to self acclaimed genius' on the internet, we're all going to die. So everything we've toward is obviously in vain. Don't worry guys, if we're making ludicrous predictions such as these - let me have a shot. I think that human rights will be placed in North Korea when Silvio Berlusconi introduces it through pictionary in 2013. But then again, there's a slight spanner in the works what with the world ending before then.

Accepted Ignorance

It's funny how it happens. Someone asserts something as fact, no matter how unbased, and it becomes the established wisdom.

- Did you know that all Polar Bears are left handed?
No they're not. Extended studies have been made and there's no evidence to back the idea that left-handed occurances are any higher than in humans.

- Goldfish have a 6 second memory.
The University of Plymouth have run experiments involving little levers that dispense food and found they have memories distinctly longer.

- Gordon Brown is an awesome economical genius.
No, he's a lucky, opportunistic, irresponsible boom-and-bust merchant

Let me make it plain here. I am not peddling any other party or politics. I am just getting annoyed by this perceived common wisdom. It is trotted out like a tired show pony everytime Nu-Labour get criticised.
Gordon Brown came to power at the best possible moment. The world economy was recovering from the recession that had gutted the world throughout the early nineties. China was burgeoning as a production centre and opening up its economy. Most importantly, the bull-run on property that had occured during the 80's was about to be dwarfed. None of these factors were down to Mr. Brown, any more than he can claim responsibility for a day of good weather. So why are these things so important?
There's nothing quite like the optimism, growth and reckless good feeling that comes from a recovering economy. After all - what better returns are there to be had than those from getting in at the bottom of a bull run? The investment from such financial environments spark growth even further. A great time to be in business.
China's emergence, along with all of the other "BRIC" economies (Brazil, Russia, India and China), is hard to over-estimate. Improving productivity and investment in these economies has driven down the price of goods dramatically. Normally, huge growth is accompanied by rampant inflation. The BRIC economies have stopped this from happening for the past decade. Lucky wasn't it?
Lastly, the house prices. I have a mate from Poland who cannot grasp the obsession with house prices in this country. It occured to me that we are among a small group of developed countries who rely on property prices to underpin growth. Only New Zealand and Ireland have more than us to lose by falling house prices. There have been small global recessions in both 1999 and 2002 that we should have had. But we didn't. Luquidity was maintained by people withdrawing moving against their equity.

Gordon Brown has milked these phenomena. We have gorged ourselves on credit and grown FAST as a result. But we have put nothing back. It's now time to start the repayments. We now owe more than our GDP - £1.44 tn, an incomprehensible amount of money. It has been irresponsible behaviour from a man who proclaimed "no more boom-and-bust" These 3 pillars are now starting to look shaky or have now crumbled altogether:

It's safe to say the whole country is sliding into recession as it the US, Russia, the Eurozone and the UK. The run of the last 10 years is completely over. Buckle up for a long deep recession. If the rule of thumb is "the bigger the boom, the worse the bust" we're all in a lot of trouble. To make things worse, all indications are pointing to a pending bubble burst in China and India. Russia's run in with Georgia has slimmed their stock market by a third. When these economies tank, all hope will be lost for even the most pig-headed of bulls.
Lastly, the housing market is buggered. I mean stuffed. Unless it's a home, buying houses now is toxic waste. Everything has been done by this government to stop it. Pushing all kinds of theories like increasing yields for landlords will underpin the BTL (Buy-to-let) market as more people rent. It's true that there are 25% more renters, the shitter is that there are 35% more landlords as people who hold out for unrealistic sales prices are renting out to cover costs.

The house of cards is falling and people should be turning around hand crucifying Crash Gordon. Instead, we are tutting at the weird eyebrow patsy that has been brought in to replace him. It's either impeccably timed or extremely lucky again.

The question we all need to ask ourselves is this:

Is he criminally and wilfully negligent or just moronically fortunate?

My tram experience; recite

A new video on youtube has become viral and it's controversial to say the very least. To those of you who read this and don't know what I'm talking about, watch it now! But if you really canny be asked, then by all means I'll give you a quick run through. It's a video of some lady sat with a child, no older than 3 while she's sat there effing and blinding about how many immigrants were on the tram with them. I've heard a lot of mixed views about this video, mostly being negative of course!

It came to my attention however, the patriots saw light in what she was trying to say. They claimed that they shouldn't feel the minority in their own country and that we should have the right to always feel 'British'. I wan to know what people would define as 'British'? I'd define it as borders on a map in which people live and speak a different language. Shitty weather, bad food, cup of tea, fish and chips. Mary fucking Poppins. I don't know about any of you, but I don't see any of these eliminated from how I'd define this country. Still have constant shit weather. We still have crappy cuisines and loads of fish bars about. These people coming into our country really isn't tainting our culture and values. The only way people can define a country is what people live inside it.

People see these foreigners coming in as money scroungers and benefit layabouts, but in honesty; I have never met such hard workers. Those people who can't do, criticize. Fact is, I'm not denying there might be a few who miss the net and go straight on the dole, but in honesty - I know far more British people who are on the dole than any foreigner. It's human nature though, we're not stupid! If we're offered food and bed for no price, we take it! It's human nature, not 'paki' nature. We all have to stand back for a second and see that when we bleed, we bleed the same! Stick a knife in that lady, the blood's red, not gold. So where does she get off in saying it's HER Britiain?! We all make this country what it is. A country is like a curry, the variation of people act as a variation of spices. The more different spices the curry has, the better the outcome.

Want to make your voice heard? Just don't do anything;

Now is it just me who remembers when the UK invaded Iraq? Over 1 million people gathered in central London to protest Blair's decision, but it sort of turned into water under the bridge. In fairness, there's not a lot that can be done about such a thing, at such a global scale. Seems protesting has turned from one thing to another, from corrupt political decision, greedy corporate industries grinding our countries into the grounds and just plain stupid ethical delusions.

During November 2010, the new Conservative party decided to triple the student fees. As we can all remember, the protest turned into a dirty riot. No matter how much the students kicked and screamed, they stuck to their guns and adhered to their new policy. Now, the true way to really fuck with their system and fight against it, is just plainly not doing anything at all. Let me explain, this new raise in fees is purely for financial reasons and if no one's there to pay for it, it just plainly doesn't work. My point is, no one should go to university for a year. And I mean, a serious blow to the system, but also educational jobs would be jeopardised too, so the plan on reformation would need a serious think over. Obviously, this a bit pie in the sky to be put into reality, but it's a thought and a true resolution.

The occupy wall street has gone on for a very long time now, pissed off people complaining that there are greedy people out there. Bankers are one of the main reasons for the financial meltdown we're all facing by giving themselves gross bonuses each year and tax avoiding. But, we must all put into perspective of how we're also to blame. I can't say I don't know one person who owes the bank money. The only way they grow in the capitalist world is by getting people riddled with debt, grabbing you by the balls and twisting to get every last bit. The simple way to avoid this was always, plainly being patient and save. Save your money and wait for whatever it is you're saving up for. Not going to the bloke in a shirt and tie asking for wads and hoping for a return. So, to play in their own game and fight against them, just don't borrow money from banks! I can proudly say, I don't, and never shall I own a credit card. When you owe someone something, they have you in their pocket. And once you're in their pocket, you have to play your life to their rules.

Now I could talk of the London riots in early August 2011, but that's plainly obvious isn't it. They were all a bunch of idiots, who weren't out there to fight for ethical justification on some drug lord gangbanger being shot, it was purely to exude their animalistic behaviour to have a reason to pilage, steal and destroy.
